4 Stars Pricey but worth it
I got the 70’s box for may dad, who was born in the 60’s but grew up in the 70’s. I wasn’t there when he got the box, but he called me right after. He was shocked that I even found something like this and was really happy with it. After later talking to my mom, she said he wouldn’t stop talking about it and almost every piece was a trip down memory lane for him. She also mentioned that a lot of the items included in the box were very hard to find now a days, such as the candy cigarettes. But there were a few items you still see on shelves. I asked if any was stale, after reading the reviews on here…but they both said everything they ate was all in good, fresh condition. This is obviously only really good for a one time gift. The shipping price did bump this up to over $40 and almost made me not get it, but at the end of the day it was worth it.

It’s a pretty cool idea and a fun gift, but the cost is too high and the shipping charges are through the stratosphere!
3 Stars No Reggie Bar??!!
Great idea, but why not pay homage to the most iconic candy of the decade? The chocolate, the caramel, the peanuts, the packaging, the salty goodness! The world has yet to see another candy to carry the name of a sports figure. Bring back the Reggie Bar and it’ll sell like hotcakes.
5 Stars A lot of candy
Sent this to my brother who is serving in Afganistan. His initial response was,”dude it’s a lot of candy”. He also said it was a great assortment of candy from when we were kids. I didn’t get to see the item myself so I hope that helps.
5 Stars Nostalgic snacks bring back memories!
All of the candies from the seventies were great!I just wish there were more of them! From sodas to licorice,suckers and bubblegum…..I purchased for a Father’s Day gift and since I had 6 Dads to buy for, it just so happened that I was able to order for different years. I ordered from the 40’s 50’s 60′70’80’s…..it was pretty awesome for all the Dad’s to start reminiscing about the good ‘ol times, what they were doing or what they were reminded of.
My whole family said it was a very thoughtful gift…….I’m always looking for unique gifts. I was very happy with my purchase. Amazon made it easy to order.-Chakakan
